WaSiM 9.06.02 (Richards)
major extensions in groundwater model and more options for input/output file formats
- New snow model methods: energy balance approach, gravitational snow redistribution and wind driven snow redistribution
- the snow redistribution options can be combined alone or together with energy balance approach, T-index-approach and T-u-index approach
- The porting of the snow redistribution algorithms was supported by the Arctic System Science Program of the U.S. National Science Foundation, Award Number 1304905, via the University of Fairbanks
- WaSIM (and all gridtools, even Tanalys, and Showgrid) can now read and write grids and stacks in either format: ASCII, single precision binary or double precision binary.
- ASCII is the new default, but using the appropriate command line parameters [-f:t|s|d] (or a control file setting in WaSiM), writing single or double grids and stacks is still possible.
- many bug fixes
